Pricing
At Brand New Tattoo, our shop minimum is $100 and I am $200 an hour for session work. (I.e. large scale work/sleeve work)
Most of my smaller pieces are priced via size and detail.
I do small fine line pieces with minimal shading (think 1-3 inches) for around $100-$200 depending on size, location and detail
Larger scale work really depends on size and detail. Feel free to reach out for a price estimate on your idea.
Do you take walk ins?
I do take walk ins when I have the time. Feel free to call Brand New Tattoo at (609) 882-3098 for daily availability.
Deposits
I require a $100-$350 deposit for all tattoo appointments. ($100 for smaller pieces, $250 for larger scale, $350 for sleeve work)
This deposit goes towards the total price of the tattoo and comes off the cost of the tattoo when we finish the piece. Deposits are 100% non refundable for any reason, and go towards covering my costs in the case of multiple redesigns or no calls/no shows.
This deposit can be done online for a small fee or can be done in person at the shop with cash.
Your deposit is forfeit if:
you do not give a minimum of 72 hours notice for cancellation or reschedule of your tattoo appointment.
You show up for your tattoo appointment more than 30 minutes late or no call/no show
You do not reschedule a cancelled appointment within 3 months of the original appointment date.
You request to change the full design/large enough element the day of the appointment. Small changes are completely welcome, but I like to fully flesh out any tattoo I do, so if the redesign is more involved than what we have time for, we will have to reschedule, your deposit will be forfeit, and I will need a new deposit to book back in.
Do you send designs ahead of time?
I do not usually send designs ahead of time.
Unfortunately, I have had some people take my designs to other artists. So, to combat that practice, I will have our design all ready for us at tattoo appointment time, and we can make any changes before we tattoo (please refer to deposit policy for the parameters on this)
Sometimes at consult time, I will draw up a rough sketch for us just so we all can see exactly how we want the tattoo to lay on the body. I do have options for larger scale pieces on this, which I will go over at consult time with you before we book the appointment.
Can I bring someone with me to my tattoo appointment?
yes, I have my own private booth at brand new tattoo with a chair for one friend to sit in. Keep in mind that long tattoo sessions can be boring for someone not getting tattooed, and if the person you bring disrupts the tattoo process they will be asked to wait in the waiting room until the tattoo is finished.
What should I wear/bring to my tattoo appointment?
please wear comfortable clothing that makes it easy to access the area we are going to be tattooing. (I.e if we’re tattooing your spine, wear a flannel or zip up hoodie that we can flip backwards so it leaves your back open). Make sure you don’t mind getting tattoo ink on those clothes, as tattoo ink does stain.
Feel free to bring any sugary snacks/drinks for yourself to keep up your stamina while you’re getting tattooed.
I personally will show up to my tattoo appointments with gummy worms, protein bars, a blanket and a Gatorade.
Avoid drinking or smoking weed before your tattoo appointment. Both can affect the tattoo process and lead to more pain/unfinished work.
Touch up policy
I do guarantee my tattoos. At brand new tattoo you get one free touch up within three months of the tattoo originally being done in case anything falls out during the healing process.
